Company Story

Port Macquarie Custom Cabinets was built on a simple idea: a coastal town at the mouth of the Hastings River deserves cabinetry made for its climate and its homes, not shipped in as a flat-pack from Sydney. Port Macquarie has been a settled town since the convict penal settlement of 1821, the third-oldest European settlement on mainland Australia, and its housing runs from convict-era heritage and beach cottages to brand-new estates at Sovereign Hills. Steve started the business to serve that whole spread, learning early that salt air and estuary humidity punish poor materials. Today we work right across the Hastings and Camden Haven, from retiree renovations in Laurieton to new family kitchens in Thrumster, with the same coastal-aware build every time.
