Consult & Measure On Site

It starts with a conversation and a free on-site measure anywhere across Port Macquarie and the Hastings. We check the room for out-of-square walls, floor fall, plumbing and power, and assess its moisture and salt exposure, so the design is grounded in your actual space rather than a standard module. Bring your ideas, photos or plans and we will talk through what is realistic for your home and budget.

Design & Written Quote

From those measurements we draw your cabinetry and give you a clear, itemised written quote covering door style, finish, hardware and a compliant benchtop, with a realistic timeline. Nothing is hidden and there is no obligation. We help you weigh options, from laminate versus natural stone to slab versus Shaker doors, so you can make a confident decision before anything is built.

Make & Install Locally

Once you approve and pay a deposit, your cabinets are made to order in our local workshop, boxes glued and dowelled square with edges heat-sealed. We book install to suit your build or renovation program, scribe and pack cabinetry level to about 2mm, then coordinate benchtop templating and trades. You end up with joinery genuinely made for your home, backed locally rather than freighted in a box.

Why choose custom cabinetry over a flat-pack kitchen?

Do you install engineered or reconstituted stone benchtops?

No. The manufacture, supply and installation of engineered stone was banned nationally from 1 July 2024, with importation prohibited from 1 January 2025, because of the silicosis risk to workers who cut it. We never quote or fit it. Instead we offer compliant surfaces: laminate, natural granite and marble via licensed stonemasons, porcelain and sintered, solid timber and stainless steel.

How do you protect cabinets from Port Macquarie's salt air and humidity?

We build wet areas in 16-18mm HMR moisture-resistant board, heat-seal every exposed edge and seal sink and cooktop cut-outs. For homes near the beaches or the Hastings and Camden Haven, we upgrade to corrosion-resistant hinges, runners and fixings. To be honest, HMR is moisture resistant, not waterproof, so sealed edges and good hardware are what make it last.

How long does a custom kitchen take?

As an indicative guide, most kitchens run around six to ten weeks from approved design to install, depending on the size, your finish and benchtop choice, and how busy the workshop is. Wardrobes, laundries and vanities are usually quicker. We give you a realistic timeline in writing at quote stage and book install to suit your build or renovation program.
